HORSEBALL Foundation HORSEBALL Foundation is a philanthropic sister-program to the U.S. HORSEBALL Federation. While the U.S. HORSEBALL Federation provides official leadership to recreational and competitive league play in the United States (as described on this website's home page), the Foundation is separate 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose mission is described below. The two entities collaborate to generate
the most positive possible outcomes from the socially-responsible development
of the sport of HORSEBALL, both in the United States directly and via
alliance with like-minded federations and philanthropic organizations
around the world. The HORSEBALL Foundation has three
primary objectives: (1) to help families with limited financial
resources to enjoy the fulfilling engagement with horses and beneficial
lessons of horsemanship that are often only available to the wealthy;
(2) to promote the rescue and rehabilitation
of neglected horses for healthy and active contemporary use; and These
two objectives are being joined for a world-bridging result: (3) to actively connect underprivileged
kids from urban environments with under-cared-for horses from the rural
world for the enrichment of both. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or volunteer of the HORSEBALL Foundation, please contact: teamerica@horseballfoundation.org Erica Buffett, HORSEBALL Foundation
